You are very talented BUT you have an over-abundance of props, to the point that it gives the impression you are selling or marketing the props instead of taking of taking newborn pictures. In quite a few of the photos, the focus on the props appear very sharp, yet the newborn's face and/or skin appears faded or blurry, as though the newborn is not the focus on the photo. I'm sorry, I don't mean to say this in a mean way, but viewing the album, photo after photo, the first impression is: "another prop" and not "what an adorable newborn." You just have so many of them. I would love to see photos of the newborns close up, just the baby's face, skin, feet, fingers, eyes, eyebrows, etc. Just the baby and not large, colorful props all around them. That's not meant to say props are not good sometimes, it's just that in your specific album, I think it's way overdone, props photo after photo after photo. The photo you have on the post above is beautiful.

Haha! It's funny that you say that...I actually was attempting to feature many of my props. All of the shots are of my Newborn Baby Girl so I've got tons and tons of the cutsie stuff as well...but as she was my first adventure into Newborn photography I wanted to showcase my props..as they are new to the studio, and have not been seen before...and quite a few of the props where exchanged for vendor marketing as well. The majority of my clientel are also seeking a slightly more editorial view rather than a 'better homes and gardens' feel..so I try to mix in a little cutsie, but mostly showpieces. I definately see what you are saying though.

Love them all! Yes, lots of props, but it shows clients variety. Also love your site! Are you using a Photobiz template? If so, which one?
