Hey everyone!

Curious to see whose behind the camera! Post a picture of yourself a short bio. This should be fun!

My name is Danny and I'm located in North Carolina. I've been with PhotoBiz for almost 2 years now and love it! I am not much of a photographer myself, but very eager to learn and must say my job has made me look at photography in a whole new light. Everyday it's great to see such awesome, inspiring photos! I started taking photos on a point-and-shoot Canon but am thinking I want a Nikon DSLR :)

This Rocks!

My name is Mike. I've been with Photobiz for a couple of months. My background involves going to school with a BFA in studio art, concentration in photography. From there I've worked with signs, from designing them to selling them to building them. I love working at Photobiz because of all the new people, photographers, and tech info I run into every day. My favorite camera to use is a Nikon D90. My arsenal also includes two film cameras (Nikon F100, Nikon F10) an old school Polaroid ProPack, and a point and shoot Fuji Finepix for those times when I need something super simple.

My name is Lisa Mar. I'm from Milton, Ontario (Just outside of Toronto). I attended Humber College in Toronto from 2002-2004 and graduated from the Creative Photography program. From there I worked in Advertising for a few years before moving to full-time in photography. I'm married to my husband and second shooter Justin. We focus primarily on weddings but I occasionally will shoot portraits, bands & boudoir. I use a lot of off-camera flash in my work which I think is so fun to play with.

I love my Nikon gear, and like most photographers I have total gear lust. Next on my list is a 35mm 1.4!

I love meeting other photographers and seeing new and exciting portfolios :)

My name is Lainey Dyer. I'm from Corvallis Oregon. I've worked in Marketing and Advertising most of my life in Michigan, Arizona, London and now Oregon. Until 2006 I didn't even know I had an eye for photography! I was moving to Oregon and my husband bought me a camera to take pictures of everything since he had to stay behind in Arizona and sell our house. He wanted to see everything I was seeing and didn't want to miss out. I was so amazed by the scenery and culture of the Pacific Northwest that I was taking hundreds of pictures everyday and editing and teaching myself Photoshop by night. After not too long people started commenting and telling me that I wasn't half bad and that I should really think about photography seriously. Well, since that suggestion my life has changed and fast forward to 2011 and I was voted Best Photographer in the Mid-Valley in 2010 and I'm now shooting weddings, portraits and special events. I even have a fun gig at Oregon State University shooting NCAA football in the fall and baseball in the spring! Find something you love and you'll never work a day in your life holds true!

My hobbies include running, hiking and oh...did I mention photography? I love doing anything that I can bring my camera with. This weekend I'm shooting a Pudding wrestling match for charity! Gotta mix it up and make things interesting!

I love my Canon gear....never used a Nikon but would like to try it out at some point.

My name is Chelsea and I'm a photographer originally from Washington D.C., but I've lived in North Carolina and Savannah, Georgia for the majority of my life. I obtained a B.F.A. in Photography from Savannah College of Art and Design in 2009, and after I graduated I worked mainly as a special effects make-up artist and a still photographer for independent films in the Southeastern United States (mainly South Carolina, Georgia and Florida)

After working as a make-up artist, costume designer and still photographer for films, I then moved back to North Carolina and worked for a year at a portrait studio working mainly with infants, children and families. However throughout this period of my life I also taught myself web programming and did freelance flash and HTML website design work until I decided to move back to Greensboro and start working with PhotoBiz!

My general camera of choice is my Canon 5D Mark II, but I also love working with alternative processes such as platinum/palladium, cyanotype, gum printing, etc. I'm also a huge Polaroid nerd and I own over 20 different cameras. (What can I say? I'm a camera nerd. :) )

My name is Brian and I'm just starting my career as a photographer (est. Fall 2010 :)) in Pennsylvania's Lehigh Valley.

Things about me the photographer...I love being behind the lens...I overshoot the shit out of my sessions because I always think there's a better shot than the one I'm taking...I believe my vision and photographer's eye are unique and can't be duplicated. It is this belief that makes me just like everybody else...I've spent years watching the light and composing pictures in my mind long before I ever picked up a camera (I just thought I was weird)...I didn't have any thought of becoming a photographer until after I started photographing my son and discovered that God had given me this talent...I enjoy the Canon/Nikon debate because I shoot Olympus and love my E-5 to death...I'll shoot my first wedding in May and already have another one booked for September...I still make far too many mistakes, but it seems like I'm the only one who notices them (knock wood).

Things about me the person...I'm a devoted husband and father...I'll welcome my newest "shooter" in June when our second son is born...having two boys 18 months apart will probably drive me insane...I can't wait until we get them bunk beds...I'm a DIEHARD Phillies and Flyers fan...I love the West Coast and, deep down, regret not having lived there for at least a little while...I think Tosh.0 is ridiculously funny...I'm proud to be a Roman Catholic...I'm still trying to figure out the movie Inception...I play guitar, have written plays, and have performed on stage in plays and musicals since high school...I'm the funniest person I know...I have a feeling I'll spend the rest of my life trying to lose weight...I obviously don't know what it means to write a "short bio".

Hi my name is Colleen. I have been a stay at home mom for 28 years and I have six children (28,26,23,20,8 and 5). I have been a photographer for only 2 short years. I started out just wanting to take better pictures of my kids and before I knew it, I was loving it so much I started taking workshops. About a year or so ago I started creating textures for personal use (I am a little addicted to photo shop) and next thing I knew people were asking me if I would consider selling my textures. I have been amazed and humbled by how quickly my texture company (Chasing Dreams)has grown.

I'm a natural light photographer but if I have to I can work with off camera flash. I enjoy photographing children, Seniors and family's. I also love photographing flowers (they don't talk back).

I shoot with a Canon 5D Mark II and own several L Lens. I seem to be addicted to camera bags lately...what can I say, I'm a girl and I like my bags.

I would love to have you stop by my Chasing Dreams fanpage and say hi.

Hey everyone !

My name is Florence and I’m located in Paris, France. I am currently setting up my business as a wedding photographer after working with agencies for a few years. I never attended a photo school, I just learned as I went and am still learning.

Among the things I love about photography, is the fact that my camera acts as a master key opening doors and enabling me to meet all kinds of people. I also do portrait, fashion, shows or anything that takes my fancy.

I have been with Photobiz for one year; as yet my website is mostly in French, but I’m sure you can find your way through the photo galleries anyway. Any comments welcome!

My name is Aaron. I've been and pro photographer for the past 4 years. I recently quit my full-time job working for a national school photo company to work for myself doing what I love! I got my start as a photographer taking a few college classes. Honestly my work sucked in college, and even though I dreamed of being a photographer I though it would never happen. To make a long story short I ended up dropping out of school, started working for the previously mentioned photo company and four years later here I am shooting multiple sessions a week and 20+ weddings a year!

I use all Canon gear but have also used a lot of Nikon gear at my pervious job.

Hello!

Posted Image

My name is Tina McNeill and I am a freelance photographer from Moore, Oklahoma.

My love for photography started at a young age, when my father would drag out the slide projector and slides. He showed us his world in Korea while he was in the army. His images inspired me. When I was in my early 20's, he died from cancer and I received the boxes of slides, the projector and screen. I clicked them over and over and realized my love for photography was genetic. Soon after, I bought my first 35 mm and I was hooked! My career in photography started late in life. My wonderful husband pushed me to attend the Oklahoma School of Photography in 2003-2004 (pre-digital at OSOP) A whole new world was opened up to me. No longer would I just take snap shots here and there and wish I could do something with it. I am self taught in digital and still teach myself Photoshop daily. I am happily married and have 2 adult children, my son is in the Air Force, and my daughter is a gaming junkie. I have 3 dogs who are also my babies and make me laugh every day!

Photography is a hobby, outlet, job and sense of being for me. No matter the mood I'm in, as soon as I pick up my camera...I'm home.

I am hoping to learn more from fellow photographers here on the Photobiz Community boards. I have seen some beautiful photography and websites that inspire me and hopefully mine will do the same for others.

Hello! My name is Adrien and I am a photographer in Arlington, TX.... and yes, I say Y'ALL often ;)

My background is that I started out an artist...
turned Landscape Architecture student (A&M Whoop, studied abroad in Italy)...
then full time mama...
then Independent Designer apmDesign which I continue to do and LOVE...
then a retouch artist for photographers and now of course photographer.

I love being creative. It flows in my blood:)
I am all self taught and I love to learn daily. Photography is definitely a passion of mine and has endless opportunities. Praise the good Lord for giving me these skills, not sure what on Earth I'd do without them.

I recently started Humbled Photography This will be a non profit organization for profession photographers to contribute their beautiful works, to help raise money for
programs of their choice. It's something God has led me to do in the past six months or so. I'm thrilled to add future work (for Him) on this website. Not sure when I will get the opportunity yet. But, I know it will come:)

It's been a pleasure working with Photobiz and I hope we have a long history together:)

Hi there! I write a photography blog, Through the Lens of Kimberly Gauthier, for amateur photographers (I'm one too). I've been blogging for over 2 years, but this blog has been my passion for 7 months now and I love it.

I've guest posted 2x on Digital Photography School (ONE and TWO) and I have a regular spot on TodaysPhoto.org.

I'm always looking for contributors to my site so if you have anything you'd like to share with the amateur photography community, let me know :)
